CERT StatisticsCERT publishes a variety of statistics related to the work performed in different areas of our program. Each set of statistics also has a related section that provides an explanation for what each column represents. For information on a particular area of work, please select one of the links below. Vulnerability Remediation StatisticsVulnerability remediation is one of the primary areas of work at the CERT Coordination Center (CERT/CC). The CERT/CC strives to both reduce the number of vulnerabilities introduced into software and reduce the threat posed by existing vulnerabilities. These statistics include number of vulnerabilities we identify and catalog as well as information about our various publications.Historical StatisticsWhile continuing to publish certain statistics, others have been deprecated. This may be because the work is no longer being performed or because the statistic no longer provides a clear representation of work. These statistics will remain for historical reference only; they are no longer maintained.
